[Video Goals] West Brom 3-0 Chelsea: Fabregas Sees Red As Baggies Down Blues

Cesc Fabregas was sent off in a bizarre incident as Chelsea slumped to a disappointing 3-0 defeat at West Bromwich Albion this evening.

The hosts got off to a great start as Saido Berahino curled home a superb right-footed effort from outside the area to put the Baggies in front.

Chelsea’s chances of getting back into the game then took a huge blow as Fabregas was dismissed for kicking the ball onto the head of Chris Brunt during a melee in the box.

West Brom then got the chance to double their lead shortly after half time when John Terry brought Berahino down in the area – the striker dusted himself off to make it 2-0 from the spot.

Loic Remy came close to pulling one back but his effort crashed off the inside of the post and the hosts secured an impressive 3-0 win when Brunt’s powerful effort beat Courtois at his near post midway through the second half.
