[Tweets & Photos] Rooney, Martial & More: Players React To Man Utd Win Online
Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial are just two of the players who’ve been reacting online following Manchester United’s win over Wolfsburg last night.
Manchester United got their Champions League campaign up and running with a 2-1 victory over Wolfsburg at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
After falling behind to an early goal, United levelled things up from the penalty spot with Juan Mata making no mistake after Wayne Rooney’s effort was handled in the area.
Mata then assisted the winner as the Spanish international’s flick found it’s way to Chris Smalling who cooly finished from close range to secure United the three points.
The win saw the Red Devils bounce back from their defeat to PSV Eindhoven on matchday one and leaves all four teams level on three points in Group B.
After the game, some of the United players have taken to social media sites to react to the victory with Anthony Martial, Daley Blind, Chris Smalling, Juan Mata and Phil Jones all celebrating on Twitter.
Skipper Wayne Rooney also took to Instagram to post a photo of him posing with Mata on the team bus with a message congratulating the Spaniard on his latest goal.
Check out what the players have had to say below:
