We’ve seen some thrilling Manchester derbies over the years but unfortunately this wasn’t one of them as it was a disappointing game in truth with both sides cancelling each other out.
United edged the possession stats but the two teams could only manage two shots on target between them during the entire ninety minutes.
The result leaves United in fourth spot in the Premier League table while City move back to the summit on goal difference from second-placed Arsenal.
After the game, some of the United players have taken to social media site Twitter to react to the draw with David De Gea, Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Ander Herrera all posting messages and photos to their followers.
