Chelsea will look get their season back on track when they take on Stoke in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night. Here is the side I think Jose Mourinho will pick:
Goalkeeper: With Thibaut Courtois still out with a knee injury, Asmir Begovic is set to continue between the sticks.
Defence: Mourinho named a strong side for their Capital Once Cup clash at Stoke in midweek but there could be one change at the back with Cesar Azpilicueta returning at left-back in place of Baba Rahman.
Otherwise I think we’ll see the same back-four with Kurt Zouma continuing at right-back in the absence of the injured Branislav Ivanovic while Gary Cahill will continue alongside skipper John Terry.
Back Chelsea to win at odds of 7/1 + money back if you lose
Midfield: Nemanja Matic will return from suspension so should reclaim his place in the middle of the park while Ramires could start alongside the Serbian international with John Obi Mikel the man most likely to make way.
Cesc Fabregas was rested from the squad in midweek so I’d expect the Spanish international to return to the starting eleven in the free role.
Attack: Eden Hazard showed signs of returning to form against Stoke and he should keep his place alongside Willian in attack. However, there is a doubt over the fitness of Diego Costa after he was sent to hospital on Tuesday night to have scans on a suspected broken rib.
There have been reports that Chelsea are confident it was only bruising so Costa could still start, but if he doesn’t then expect Loic Remy to come in up front.
Here is how I think we’ll see Chelsea line-up:
