Klopp To Make 1 Change: Predicted Liverpool Starting Line-Up vs Man City
Liverpool take on Manchester City in the final of the Capital One Cup at Wembley on Sunday afternoon. Here is the side I think Jurgen Klopp will pick.
Liverpool will look to pick up their first piece of silverware since 2012 when they take on Man City in the final of the Capital One Cup on Sunday. Here is the side I think Jurgen Klopp will pick.
Goalkeeper: Number one goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is expected to keep his place this weekend.
Defence: Klopp practically fielded his strongest side for the Europa League win over Augsburg last night so he isn’t expected to make too many changes this weekend, but the only one change he could make is in defence.
Lucas Leiva started at centre-back last night so he’s expected to drop out but it will be interesting to see whether Klopp goes with the fit-again Dejan Lovren or Kolo Toure – who’s performed admirably alongside Mamadou Sakho in recent weeks.
I think we’ll see the Ivorian get the nod while Alberto Moreno and Nathaniel Clyne should keep their places in the full-back slots. Martin Skrtel is back in full training but isn’t expected to start just yet.

Midfield: Joe Allen is also back in training after recovering from a hamstring injury but he isn’t likely to come back in to the starting eleven just yet so I expect to see James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Emre Can lining-up in the middle of the park once again.
Attack: I also don’t think we’ll see many changes in attack as Klopp has hinted Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho are fit to start and they should be joined by Roberto Firmino in the starting eleven.
Adam Lallana is back in training after a calf injury but he lacks fitness so a place on the bench is the best he can probably hope for.
Here is how I think we’ll see Liverpool line-up:
BACK LIVERPOOL AT TO WIN AT 9/1 OR CITY AT 7/1 + MONEY BACK IF YOU LOSE
What do you think? What line-up would you like to see start?
