Man Utd Star Joins Liverpool Duo In Premier League Team of the Week

Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been named in the WhoScored Premier League Team of the Week along with Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho.

Ibrahimovic made his league debut for United after joining the club on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain this summer and he wasted no time in settling in to life here in England.

The Swedish super-star got on the score-sheet with a fine long-range strike to help Jose Mourinho’s men secure a 3-1 win at Bournemouth on Sunday and his score of 8.28 is enough to see him named in the Team of the Week.

Liverpool also enjoyed a winning start to the new season with Coutinho in inspired form, scoring two superb goals during a thrilling 4-3 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.

The Brazilian international scored a week-high 8.83 and was joined in the WhoScored TOTW by new team-mate Sadio Mane, who scored a fine goal on his Premier League debut for Liverpool following his move from Southampton.

Watford duo Heurelho Gomes and Etienne Capoue also make the line-up along with Swansea’s Kyle Naughton and Leroy Fer, while West Ham defender James Collins makes the cut after scoring during a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea last night.
