Hull vs Man Utd Preview, Team News, Line-Ups, Betting Tips & Predicted Score
Man Utd will take on Hull City on Satruday evening. Here’s a preview with team news, likely line-ups, betting tips and predicted score for the game
Manchester United will look to continue their 100% start to the season when they take on Hull City at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday evening.
Jose Mourinho has made an excellent start to life at Old Trafford having collected six points from his opening two Premier League fixtures so far.
The Red Devils beat Bournemouth 3-1 on the opening weekend and followed it up with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Southampton last Friday night so the ‘Special One’ will be looking to make it three wins on the bounce.
However, they’ll be up against another side who boast a 100% record this season after interim manager Mike Phelan lead the Tigers to consecutive victories over Leicester and Swansea this season.
Team news
United have no fresh injury worries to contend with so Mourinho has virtually a fully-fit squad to choose from. Jesse Lingard is back in contention after returning to training this week having recovered from a minor knock.
Chris Smalling could return to the starting eleven after building his match fitness with a substitute appearance off the bench against Southampton last week. Daley Blind is the man most likely to make way as Eric Bailly has made an excellent start to life in Manchester.
Hull continue to have a thread-bare squad to choose from with the likes of Michael Dawson, Moses Odubajo, Alex Bruce and Allan McGregor all out for the foreseeable future.
However, Abel Hernandez, Adama Diomande, Robert Snodgrass, Tom Huddlesstone and Andy Robertson should all be recalled to the starting eleven after being rested for the League Cup win in midweek.
Likely Line-Ups
Predicted Score
Hull 0-2 Man Utd: United have looked reasonably impressive in their opening two games and there is no doubt the additions of Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have added some much-needed quality to the team. Hull are a spirited side and will no doubt put up a good fight but I can see United winning this 2-0.
