Spurs vs Man City Preview, Team News, Line-Ups, Betting Tips & Predicted Score
Tottenham take on Man City at White Hart Lane on Sunday. Here’s a preview with team news, likely line-ups, betting tips and predicted score for the game
Both teams will be looking to extend their unbeaten starts to the new Premier League season when Tottenham entertain leaders Manchester City at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon.
Spurs have made a solid start to the new campaign with last weekends win at Middlesbrough making it four wins and two draws from their opening six matches to leave the north Londoners sitting second in the division.
The only club above Mauricio Pochettino’s side are the visitors with City four points clear at the top following a flawless start to the season that’s seen Pep Guardiola’s side win all six of their opening matches.
Spurs warmed up for the game with a hard fought win at CSKA Moscow in midweek while City played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at Celtic so both teams will be looking to pick up another positive result tomorrow afternoon.
Team news
Tottenham striker Harry Kane remains out with an ankle injury so summer signing Vincent Janssen is set to once again lead the line up front as the Dutchman searches for his first Premier League goal.
Pochettino will assess Eric Dier, Moussa Dembele and Danny Rose after they all missed the win on Tuesday night with hamstring injuries while Moussa Sissoko could also return to the squad after taking a bang to the head last weekend.
City have no fresh injury worries to contend with but Kevin De Bruyne, Vincent Kompany and Fabian Delph all remain unavailable for selection with hamstring, groin and muscle injuries respectively.
John Stones is set for a recall in defence after being left out for the Champions League draw at Celtic in midweek.
Likely Line-Ups
Predicted Score
Tottenham 2-2 Man City: Spurs have been grinding out results this season but there is no doubt this will be their stiffest test yet. City have taken to Guardiola’s plans quickly and look formidable on their day, but I think Tottenham will secure a point in an entertaining game at the Lane.
