Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to book their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup when they entertain Wycombe Wanderers at White Hart Lane this weekend.
Here is the side we think Mauricio Pochettino will select for the game:
Goalkeeper: The Argentinean coach is set to make wholesale changes to his side just as he did in the previous round of the cup so we should see Michel Vorm given a rare chance to impress in goal with Hugo Lloris dropping out.
Defence: Pochettino confirmed at his press conference this afternoon that Toby Alderweireld will miss the game after suffering a hamstring injury against Manchester City last week. The good news is the injury isn’t serious so the Belgian international should return to face Sunderland next Tuesday.
Jan Vertonghen is also making good progress in his recovery from an ankle injury but this game comes too soon so we should see youngster Cameron Carter-Vickers line-up along with Eric Dier and Kevin Wimmer at the back.
Midfield: Danny Rose has been ruled out with a minor knee injury that he sustained at City so Ben Davies is set to start in the left wing-back role while Keiran Trippier should replace the rested Kyle Walker on the right.
Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele should be given well-earned rests which could see Moussa Sissoko start in the middle of the park alongside youngster Harry Winks.
Attack: There should also be changes in attack as Pochettino has confirmed that Harry Kane won’t be risked after picking up a minor groin injury. The England ace should be fit to face Sunderland but his absence this weekend means there could be a rare start for Vincent Janssen up front.
Christian Eriksen may get a rest with Dele Alli joined by Heung-min Son in attack – although the likes of Josh Onomah and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou are options for the Spurs boss if he wants to protect his first team stars.
Here is how I think we’ll see Spurs line-up:
