Brighton vs Man Utd | Confirmed Team News | How To Watch | Prediction | Betting
Here is our match preview ahead of Man Utd’s league clash with Brighton including confirmed line-ups, how to watch, predicted score and betting.
Manchester United will be hoping to secure second place in the table with a win when they take on Brighton at the Amex Stadium this evening.
The Red Devils maintained their position behind champions Manchester City by beating Arsenal last weekend with an injury-time Marouane Fellaini header securing a 2-1 win.
That victory ensures United go in to this weekend’s action sitting five points clear of Liverpool with a game in hand so victory on the south coast this evening will all-but wrap-up second spot.
Brighton come in to the match sitting 14th in the table but they still aren’t guaranteed to avoid the drop as they’re just five points off the relegation places with three games left to play.
However, a win over United tonight will take them to 40 points and virtually guarantee their top flight status for another season so Chris Hughton will be desperate to pick up their first win in six games.
Team news
United are without top scorer Romelu Lukaku after he was ruled out with an ankle injury that forced him off against the Gunners last weekend.
Antonio Valencia hasn’t travelled to the south coast while Alexis Sanchez is also among those rested.
Brighton have no fresh injury worries to contend with and midfielder Davy Propper returns from suspension.
Predicted Score
Brighton 0-2 Man Utd: The hosts have almost done enough to secure Premier League football next season and I don’t think the players will be feeling too much pressure. United on the other hand have an FA Cup final to think about so the players should be fighting to earn a starting spot at Wembley. United should have too much quality for the Seagulls, so I’m going for an away win.
