Goalkeeper: Pochettino has a huge decision to make in goal after Hugo Lloris was arrested for drink driving late last week. Usually he’d be an automatic starter but some reports suggest Spurs are ready to drop their No.1 following the incident meaning Vorm is on stand-by to make a rare start.
Defence: Tottenham played three at the back against Fulham last weekend and Pochettino seems to like that formation against the bigger clubs too so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him stick with that system tomorrow night.
Toby Alderweireld made a successful return to the side last weekend so the Belgian international could keep his place alongside Davinson Sachez and Jan Vertonghen at Old Trafford.
Midfield: Kieran Trippier was on target with a superb free-kick against Fulham and I expect he’ll be retained in the right wing-back role ahead of Serge Aurier while Ben Davies has cemented his place ahead of Danny Rose on the opposite flank.
Pochettino could be tempted to recall Mousa Dembele to offer them a bit more control in midfield so the Belgian international may line-up alongside Eric Dier in midfield.
Victor Wanyama is back in training as he continues to work his way back from a serious knee injury but the Kenyan international is not in contention just yet.
Attack: Harry Kane finally ended his hoodoo of not scoring in August after netting the third goal against the Cottagers last weekend and the England star is certain to lead the line up front at Man United.
The change in formation and recall of Dembele would mean Pochettino has to drop one of his attackers and Lucas Moura could be the man most likely to make way despite his impressive start to the new campaign.
Dele Alli is expected to retain his place in attack while Poch is highly unlikely to leave Christian Eriksen out of his starting eleven so Moura may have to make-do with a place on the bench alongside Erik Lamela.
Tottenham will continue to be without Hueng-min Son as he’s still away on international duty at the Asia Games.
Here is how I expect Spurs to line-up:
