Manchester United get their 2019/20 Premier League campaign underway with a mouth-watering heavyweight clash against Chelsea at Old Trafford this afternoon.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has handed Andreas Pereira a start in midfield with Nemanja Matic having to settle for a place on the bench. Summer signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka makes his debut in defence along with Harry Maguire as they start with Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw in the United back four.
Paul Pogba starts for Man Utd despite question marks surrounding his future while Scott McTominay, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford also start. It looks like Anthony Martial will lead the line up front.
As for Chelsea, N’Golo Kante is only deemed fit enough for a place on the bench so Mateo Kovacic lines-up alongside Jorginho in midfield. Mason Mount gets a start along with Ross Barkley as they join Pedro in the Chelsea eleven.
Tammy Abraham is selected ahead of Olivier Giroud while Christian Pulisic has to settle for a place on the bench. Emerson gets the nod ahead of Marcos Alonso at left-back.
