Hueng-min Son scored twice as Tottenham got back to winning ways by thrashing Leicester City 4-0 at the new White Hart Lane this afternoon.
It was a flying start from Spurs as the hosts broke the deadlock in the 11th minute when Son received a pass from Toby Alderweireld before cutting inside and firing into the bottom corner for 1-0.
It wasn’t long before Tottenham had doubled their advantage as Serge Aurier capped his first appearance since February with an assist as the full-backs cross deflected off Patrick van Aanholt into the Palace net at the near post for 2-0 in the 21st minute.
A rampant Tottenham side made it 3-0 just two minutes later when Aurier picked out Son at the far post and the South Korean international volleyed home to put the North Londoners in total control.
Spurs weren’t done there as they took a four-goal lead into half-time with Harry Kane found Erik Lamela at the far stick and the Argentinean international finished well to make it 4-0 at the break.
