European champions Liverpool take on Salzburg in the group stages of the Champions League at Anfield tonight.
Jurgen Klopp has made just one change from the side that beat Sheffield United at the weekend with Joe Gomez coming in for the injured Joel Matip. Virgil van Dijk once again marshals the back four with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson occupying the full-back positions.
Fabinho keeps his place in the holding role with Jordan Henderson once again skippering the Liverpool team this evening. Gini Wijnaldum makes-up the midfield three so James Milner, Naby Keita and Adam Lallana have to settle for places on the bench.
Klopp has gone with his strongest attack so Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane once again support Roberto Firmino in the Liverpool front three. Therefore, the likes of Divock Origi and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are named on the bench but Xherdan Shaqiri misses out through injury.
Liverpool have been handed a major boost as Salzburg danger-man Erling Braut Håland is only deemed fit enough for a place on the bench due to illness.
