Key man returns as Solskjaer makes 4 changes | Expected Man Utd line-up vs B’mouth

Manchester United will be looking to continue their recent good form when they take on Bournemouth on Saturday lunchtime. Here is the team we think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will select for the game:

Goalkeeper: David De Gea was rested for the Carabao Cup win over Chelsea on Wednesday night but he’s a vital part of Solskjaer’s side so the Spaniard will be recalled this weekend with Sergio Romero making way.

Defence: Man Utd played a back three/five at Stamford Bridge but Solskjaer is expected to revert to a flat back four on Saturday so Marcos Rojo is the man set to drop out with Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof keeping their places.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka will continue on the right side of defence while Ashley Young is being tipped for a recall on the left with youngster Brandon Williams making way despite his impressive performance against Chelsea.

Axel Tuanzebe remains a major doubt with a groin injury that’s hampered him recently while Luke Shaw and Eric Bailly are also still on the sidelines for Manchester United this weekend.

Midfield: Paul Pogba is once again ruled out as the Frenchman is still working his way back to full fitness from a troublesome foot problem while Nemanja Matic is also set to miss out due to an on-going muscle injury.

Scott McTominay will continue in midfield for Man Utd and Fred is expected to keep his place alongside the Scottish international after putting in a solid shift during the Carabao Cup win.

Attack: Marcus Rashford is certain to retain his place in the United attack after he scored a stunning 30-yard free-kick to secure a 2-1 win over Chelsea on Wednesday night.

Summer signing Daniel James is also likely to keep his spot in Solskjaer’s starting eleven while Anthony Martial is due a recall after only being named among the substitutes in the League Cup victory.

Jesse Lingard could drop out as he’s still working his way back to his best form following a frustrating campaign. Andreas Pereira is pushing for a recall but Juan Mata may be the man to come in to the Man Utd eleven.
