[Teams] Astana vs Man Utd: Confirmed line-ups for Europa League clash

An inexperienced Manchester United side will take on Astana in their Europa League group stage clash this afternoon [3.50pm kick off]. 

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has left all his big guns back in Manchester to rest ahead of Sunday’s Premier League game against Aston Villa so he’s called-up several members of the United youth squad.

Lee Grant starts in goal while youth prospects Di’Shon Bernard and Ethan Laird are handed their first team debuts in defence. Luke Shaw step-up his recovery from a hamstring injury with a start at left-back while Axel Tuanzebe also gets a chance to build-up his match fitness.

Dylan Levitt also gets his debut in midfield as he starts alongside James Garner while Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes line-up in the Man Utd attack. Jesse Lingard will be looking to get some minutes under his belt as he captains the side today.

Mason Greenwood will be hoping to get himself on the scoresheet once again having scored his sixth goal of the season at the weekend while the likes of Largie Ramazani, Teden Mengi, Ethan Galbraith, Arnau Puigmal, Matej Kovar and D’Mani Bughail-Mellor are on the bench.
