Sky Sports News are reporting this morning that Tottenham’s Gareth Bale has been ruled out of this weekend’s Euro qualifier between Wales and England with a hamstring injury.
It is believed Bale felt a small problem with his hamstring following Tottenham’s 0-0 draw with West Ham and after being assessed by Wales medical staff, it has been confirmed he will not take part in Saturday’s showdown. However, It is not believed to be a serious injury though, which will be a relief to Spurs fans, and there is every chance Bale will be fit to lineup for Tottenham’s next game against Wigan.
Bale will now return to Tottenham to have further assessments and treatment. An official statement is expected from Gary Speed shortly.
