Spurs Face Competition From City For Scott Parker
With relegation looming the PFA Player of the Year could on his way to the Eastland’s or to local rivals Tottenham.
With relegation looming the PFA Player of the Year could on his way to the Eastland’s or to local rivals Tottenham. Scott Parker has been in excellent form this season, which saw the former Chelsea man bag the prestigious PFA award.
But with relegation for the Hammers a real possibility, the English international will be allowed to leave Upton Park if West Ham are indeed relegated and the Champions League chasers lead the pack for his signature.
The Mirror reports that City can treble Parker’s current £60 000 a week wages, but with the death of his father recently, the 30-year old may be reluctant to move away from London and leave his mother, leaving Spurs in pole position.
