Sesko replaces Mount: Predicted Manchester United XI vs Brighton and Hove Albion

A week after trumping Liverpool at Anfield, Manchester United are back in action in the Premier League tomorrow as they take on Brighton & Hove Albion on matchday nine of the Premier League at Old Trafford at 17:30 local time.

Ruben Amorim’s men will be looking for their third successive win, a result which would continue to push them further up in the standings, subject to how other fixtures pan out.

Having said that, here is a look at the Red Devils’ potential starting eleven against the Seagulls.

Goalkeeper – Senne Lammens has conceded only one goal in the last two league outings, and is expected to be preferred to Altay Bayindir for the role in between the sticks tomorrow.

Defenders – Matthijs de Ligt did a great job last weekend, while Harry Maguire came up with the winner to cap off a very good individual performance display. The duo are expected to keep their place at the back, with Luke Shaw the favourite to cap off an unchanged trio in defence from last week.

Sesko set to lead the line

Midfielders – Casemiro had to be taken out due to an injury against Liverpool last weekend but has escaped without any serious issue. Therefore, the Brazilian is expected to play in the double pivot alongside Bruno Fernandes.

Meanwhile, Amad Diallo and Diogo Dalot are also likely to retain their berths at right and left wing back, respectively.

Forwards – Bryan Mbeumo is expected to continue on the right flank after scoring last weekend, whereas with Mason Mount likely to drop out after an underwhelming display versus Liverpool, Matheus Cunha could feature on the left wing.

£74 million summer signing Benjamin Sesko might return to the team to lead the line.
