Roman Pavlyuchenko is waiting to hear on Tottenham after the striker revealed he expects one of the strikers to be sold.
Spurs boast five attacking options and the Russian international believes one will be sold this summer. The 29-year old has scored 38 goals in 99 appearances for the North London side and has expressed his desire to stay in North London next season.
“I feel very much adapted and comfortable at Tottenham,” said Pavlyuchenko in the Daily Star Sunday. “In football, circumstances change very fast sometimes.
“We now have five strikers. There’s myself, Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe, Robbie Keane and Rafael van der Vaart, who I also consider to be a forward.
“Obviously, someone is going to be either sold or sent on loan.
“There is no news about my contract yet, so all we have to do now is to wait and see.”
He added: “As far as I can judge, the club still want to determine who they buy in the summer”
