Manchester City kept their slim title hopes alive with a 2-1 win over league leaders Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday night.
After a fairly uninspiring first half, City took the lead shortly after the break when a deflected James Milner striker flew past David De Gea in the United goal for 1-0. However, United drew level soon after when Phil Jones headed in via the back of Vincent Kompany before the visitors won it and gave themselves a glimmer of hope in the title race when sub Sergio Aguero skipped through the United defence to smash home the winner.
