Jose Mourinho got off to a winning start as Chelsea eased to a comfortable 2-0 win over newly promoted Hull City at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
Frank Lampard saw an early penalty saved before Oscar broke the deadlock shortly after with a neat finish after being put through by De Bruyne. Lampard then doubled the Blues advantage with a thunderous long-range free-kick midway through the first half. The hosts had chances to add gloss to the scoreline but it ended 2-0 and Mourinho got off to a steady start back in the hot-seat.
