The Red Devils head into the game sitting eighth in the table and a full 8 points adrift of leaders Arsenal following last weeks 1-1 draw with Southampton.
David Moyes is expected to recall striker Robin van Persie for the visit of Stoke after the Dutchman missed Wednesday’s 1-0 win over Real Sociedad with a slight knock. Marouane Fellaini is also likely to be recalled having been rested in midweek and the Belgian international should line-up alongside Michael Carrick in midfield.
Captain Nemanja Vidic could make a return from injury and is likely to play with Jonny Evans at the back while youngster Adnan Januzaj could get another start on the left, although Shinji Kagawa will be hopeful of retaining his place after a decent showing against Real.
