Manchester United edged past Norwich City 1-0 at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon thanks to a second half winner from Danny Welbeck.
After a goalless opening 45 minutes, United took the lead in fortuitous circumstances when a Norwich clearance rebounded off Welbeck and fell kindly for the striker, he then calmly rounded the goalkeeper to stroke home for 1-0. Neither side could add to the scoreline so United secured the three points to move up to sixth in the table.
