Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney, Radamel Falcao and Ander Herrera were among the players to react on Twitter to Man Utd’s 4-0 win over Queens Park Rangers yesterday
Manchester United got back to winning ways as they thrashed Queens Park Rangers 4-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Angel Di Maria was the star of the show with the Argentine opening the scoring with a dangerous in-swinging free-kick and putting in a virtuoso display.
Wayne Rooney and Ander Herrera also got themselves on the score-sheet during the first half before Di Maria set up Juan Mata with a cross-come-shot to make it 4-0 in the second half and seal the three points.
After the game several players took to Twitter to react to the win, with goal-scorers Mata, Rooney and Herrera joined by debutantes Radamel Falcao and Daley Blind, as well as goalkeeper David De Gea, in having their say.
It was an important victory after a disappointing start to the season, so understandably all the players were delighted to get their first three points on the board with many praising the excellent atmosphere at Old Trafford yesterday.
