[Video] Watch Adnan Januzaj Score Hat-Trick As Man Utd U-21’s Thrash Sunderland

Adnan Januzaj was the star of the show as Manchester United’s under-21’s thrashed Sunderland 4-0 at Old Trafford on Monday night.

The Belgian youngster started alongside fellow first-teamers Luke Shaw and Anderson and opened the scoring 20 minutes in after a neat one-two with Will Keane before Andreas Pereira doubled United’s advantage with a low drive.

Januzaj then added a third to put the hosts in total control at the break before completing his treble in the second half when he fired past the Black Cats keeper for 4-0.

It was a timely reminder to boss Louis van Gaal – who was watching in the stands last night – of what Januzaj can offer, with the 19-year-old struggling to force his way into the Dutchman’s first team plans following the arrival of several big-money signings such as Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao.
