QPR vs Man Utd Preview, Team News, Likely Line-Ups, Predicted Score & Betting Tips
Man Utd will be looking to get back on track when they take on QPR at Loftus Road on Saturday. Here’s a preview with team news, line-up and predicted score
Manchester United will look to get back on track when they take on Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils saw their eleven match unbeaten run come to an abrupt end with a 1-0 defeat to Southampton at Old Trafford last weekend.
That result saw them drop down to fourth in the Premier League table – just one point ahead of Arsenal – so Louis van Gaal will be desperate to get back on track tomorrow.
They should be confident of doing so as Queens Park Rangers haven’t beaten United since way back in 1992, with the 20-time champions winning 13 and drawing three of the 16 games since then.
Team news
United are likely to be without striker Robin van Persie after he picked up a minor ankle injury last week, although he’ll be given every chance to prove his fitness.
All eyes will be on whether van Gaal recalls Radamel Falcao after leaving him out of the entire squad against Southampton last time out.
Rafael is back in contention after having surgery on a fractured cheekbone while Marcos Rojo is also available again after overcoming a thigh problem.
QPR will hope to have midfielder Niko Kranjcar back from a thigh injury but Armand Traore continues to miss out with a toe problem.
Midfielder Sandro is also still nursing a knee issue so he’ll join Yun Suk-Young (ankle) on the sidelines.
Likely Line-ups
Predicted Score
QPR 0-2 Man Utd: United were well below their best against Southampton last weekend but even without van Persie, I think we’ll see Louis van Gaal’s men bounce back with a win tomorrow.
Betting Tips
Man Utd are heavy favourites to win the game but thanks to Football-Talk, new customers can get enhanced odds of 4/1 on an away win with Betfair while you can also win £100 worth of free bets. A 2-0 win is on offer at 17/2 and I fancy Wayne Rooney to open the scoring at odds of 11/2, and if we combine that with a 2-0 away win in a scorecast then we get very tempting odds of 22/1. Surely that’s got to be worth a couple of quid!?
