FA Cup
Man Utd vs Cambridge Preview, Team News, Likely Line-Up, Prediction & Betting Tips
Man Utd will be looking to avoid an upset when they take on Cambridge at Old Trafford tonight. Here’s a preview with team news, line-ups and predicted score.
Manchester United will look to book their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup when they take on Cambridge United at Old Trafford tonight.
The Red Devils were surprisingly held to a 0-0 draw in the first leg at the Abbey Stadium so Louis van Gaal will be desperate to put things right tonight and avoid what would be the greatest ever cup shock if United were to crash out.
The hosts head into the game off the back of a 3-1 victory over Leicester City at the weekend which saw United climb above Southampton into third spot in the Premier League table, so they should be confident of booking a date against either Preston or Sheffield United in the next round.
Cambridge on the other hand arrive at Old Trafford off the back of a 3-2 defeat to Luton Town and are the lowest ranked team left in the competition, so they’ll know only too well the size of the task that’s in front of them.
Team News
van Gaal is expected to make several changes to his line-up with the likes of Victor Valdes, Chris Smalling, Rafael, Marouane Fellaini and James Wilson all hoping to feature.
This could see key men such as David De Gea, Marcos Rojo, Angel Di Maria, Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie rested ahead of Sunday’s trip to West Ham.
Ashley Young remains out with a hamstring injury and Jonny Evans is also still a doubt but Paddy McNair could come back in.
United will have to make do without Michael Carrick once again as he continues to nurse a muscle injury that’s going to keep him out for around a month.

Likely Line-Up
Predicted Score
Man Utd 4-0 Cambridge: The League Two outfit were outstanding at home and fully deserved their lucrative replay at Old Trafford. However, it will be a completely different game away from home tonight and United should easily dispatch of their lower league opposition in front of their own fans.
Betting Tips
Man Utd are obviously the heavy favourites to win the game with best odds of 1/12 but thanks to Football-Talk, new customers can get enhanced odds of 3/1 on a United win with Betfair while you can also win £100 worth of free bets. A 4-0 win is on offer at 13/2 and I fancy Radamel Falcao to open the scoring at odds of 3/1, and if we combine that with a 2-0 win in a scorecast then we get very tempting odds of 14/1. Surely that’s got to be worth a couple of quid!?
