Rubin Kazan vs Liverpool Preview, Team News, Line-Up, Betting Tips & Prediction
Liverpool take on Rubin Kazan in the Europa League tonight. Here’s a preview with team news, likely line-up, betting tips and predicted score.
Liverpool will look to take a huge step towards qualification from the group stages in the Europa League when they play Rubin Kazan tonight.
The Reds head into the game sitting second in Group A after drawing each of their opening three games – including a 1-1 stalemate with tonight’s opposition in the reverse fixture at Anfield two weeks ago.
This evening’s game promises to be an even sterner test for Jurgen Klopp’s men as Kazan are a tough side to beat at home and no English side has ever left without tasting defeat with Tottenham Chelsea and Wigan all losing to the Russian outfit in recent years.
However, Liverpool should be in confident mood as they warmed up for the game with a stunning 3-1 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday and Klopp will be hoping to follow that up with his first win in Europe since becoming boss.

Team news
Liverpool have taken a full strength squad to Russia and Klopp is expected name a strong side for the game, despite facing a tricky Premier League test against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Christian Benteke is set to start up front with Roberto Firmino dropping to the bench while Jordon Ibe is also expected to be given a run out in place of Adam Lallana.
Klopp could decide to rest Lucas Leiva for the weekend which would see Joe Allen come in alongside Emre Can in midfield with Jordan Henderson still on the sidelines.
Youngsters Pedro Chirivella, Cameron Brannagan and goalkeeper Ryan Fulton are included in the squad but midfielder Joao Teixeira is ineligible and defender Connor Randall has not travelled.
Likely Line-Up
Predicted Score
Rubin Kazan 1-1 Liverpool: The Reds will be in buoyant mood following Saturday’s impressive win at Chelsea and with a strong side expected to be put out, I don’t see them losing this one. However, Kazan are a tough side at home so I think this will end in a score draw.
Betting Tips
Liverpool are the 10/11 favourites but Football-Talk can get you enhanced odds of 6/1 on a Reds win if you click here. My prediction of 1-1 is on offer at odds of 6/1 and I also like the look of Benteke opening the score at 5/1. If we combine those two bets in a score-cast, then we get very tempting odds of 25/1.
