Jamie Vardy broke a Premier League goal-scoring record but it wasn’t enough to secure all three points as Manchester United held Leicester to a 1-1 draw at the King Power this evening.
Vardy made history after becoming the first player to score in 11 consecutive Premier League games after racing clear to slot past David De Gea in the 24th minute.
However, United spoiled the party after levelling things up on the stroke of half-time as Bastian Schweinsteiger headed home from close range following a corner.
Both sides pushed for a winner after the break but neither could find a breakthrough so the game ended 1-1 which moves Leicester level on points with league leaders Manchester City while United are just a point behind in third.
