Manchester United will be looking to close-in on the top four with a win when they take on Bournemouth at Dean Court on Saturday lunchtime.

United have endured a disappointing opening few months to the new Premier League season but there have been more positive signs in recent weeks and the Red Devils got back to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Everton at Old Trafford last weekend.

Despite that win, United head in to the weekend action sitting eighth in the table but they can move to within just two points of fourth-placed Arsenal with a win tomorrow so Jose Mourinho will be desperate to come away with all three points from the South Coast.

However, they’ll face high-flying Bournemouth, who sit sixth in the division and three points ahead of United following a hugely impressive start to the season that’s seen them win six of their 10 league games so it will be a tough test for the Manchester giants.

United will continue to be without Antonio Valencia after he suffered a knee injury last week while Marouane Fellaini and Diogo Dalot also remain on the sidelines through injury.

Alexis Sanchez and Jesse Lingard were back on the bench against Everton last weekend and Mourinho says the duo are now fully-fit and in contention to start tomorrow afternoon.

Bournemouth captain Simon Francis is a doubt for the game with a groin injury that he picked up in midweek while Joshua King remains out with an ankle problem.
