Manchester United will look to put one foot in the knockout stages of the Champions League when they take on Young Boys at Old Trafford this evening.
Jose Mourinho has made five changes to his starting eleven as Antonio Valencia is recalled to captain the side at right-back with Matteo Darmian ruled out and Ashley Young not making the squad while Luke Shaw returns at left-back after serving a domestic ban.
Phil Jones is preferred ahead of Eric Bailly as the England international replaces the injured Victor Lindelof alongside Chris Smalling at the back and Nemanja Matic keeps his place in midfield. However, Paul Pogba and Juan Mata drop to the bench as Marouane Fellaini and Fred get recalls.
Romelu Lukaku also makes way with Marcus Rashford getting a run-out up front with Antony Martial and Jesse Lingard offering support but there is no place for Alexis Sanchez in Mourinho’s matchday squad.
