Carabao Cup Semi-Final Draw: Find Out Who Tottenham, Chelsea & Man City Got

The draw for the semi finals of the Carabao Cup was conducted tonight and Burton Albion have been given a bumper tie against Premier League champions Manchester City.

Manchester City needed penalties to get past Leicester City at the King Power last night after the game finished 1-1 at full-time. The League Cup holders will now face League One Burton in the last-four after they beat Middlesbrough 1-0 at the Riverside on Tuesday night.

Chelsea left it late to book their place in the semi-finals as Eden Hazard came off the bench to score the winning goal during a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge this evening.

Tottenham got revenge in the North London Derby after losing 4-2 earlier this month as goals from Hueng-min Son and Dele Alli saw off Arsenal 2-0 tonight and Mauricio Pochettino’s side will now face Chelsea over two legs next month.

Obviously it’s going to be an exciting double-header between London rivals Tottenham and Chelsea but Man City will be the red-hot favourites to ease past Burton to book their place in the final.

The first legs will be played on the 8th/9th January 2019 with the return legs played two weeks later on the 22nd/23rd.
