Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has opted to start Phil Jones at right-back with Diogo Dalot dropping to the bench. Victor Lindelof comes in alongside Chris Smalling while Ashley Young returns to fill-in at left-back with Luke Shaw ruled out of the game through suspension.
Scott McTominay is recalled to start in midfield after being rested for Man Utd’s win over West Ham at the weekend while Fred and Paul Pogba also start in the middle of the park for the visitors tonight.
Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard support Marcus Rashford as Solskjaer opts for pace in his attack with Romelu Lukaku dropping to the bench. Alexis Sanchez is named among the substitutes against his former side while Nemanja Matic is only deemed fit enough for a place on the bench after recovering from illness.
As for Barcelona, Lionel Messi obviously leads the attack along with Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho while Malcom and Ousmane Dembele have to make-do with places on the bench.
