Wesley Sneijder Rules Out January Transfer

Wesley Sneijder has ended any slim hopes of a move to Manchester United or Manchester City after insisting he won’t be leaving Inter Milan this month.
The 27-year-old playmaker was strongly linked with a move to United in the summer, with the Daily Mail reporting he was close to agreeing a £35m move before deadline day, but a move failed to materialise and the Dutchman stayed with Inter.
As January approached, the Daily Mail then linked Sneijder with a move to City as part of a swap deal involving want-a-way striker Carlos Tevez.
However, with little over a week remaining in the January transfer window, Sneijder has now reaffirmed his commitment to Inter, insisting he’s settled at the San Siro and wont be leaving this month. Speaking to Sky Sports News after this weekends win over Lazio, the player said:
“I am in good shape and I feel well. The future? I stay at Inter, I feel good here,”
“How much is left until the end of this transfer window? A week, no? I’m staying here.”
