[VIDEO GOALS] Bolton 4-2 Spurs: Pavyluchenko’s Stunning Volley Not Enough For Spurs

Tottenham came back to earth with a bump as Bolton beat them 4-2 in a thrilling game at the Reebok. Kevin Davies gave Bolton the lead mid-way through the first half with a neat left-foot finish from the edge of the box. Bolton started the second half the brighter and doubled their lead through full-back Steinsson who fired low into the bottom corner from inside the area. Bolton’s third came courtesy of a penalty won by Lee when Assou-Ekotto brought him down in the area, Kevin Davies making no mistake from 12-yards to make it 3-0 and the game looked over.
However, Alan Hutton gave Spurs a glimmer of hope with a superb piece of individual brilliance, cutting in from the right and curling the ball into the top corner from the edge of the box. Pavyluchenko ensured a tense finish with a stunning volley from the edge of the 6-yard box, making it 3-2 with 5 minutes remianing.
As Spurs pushed for an equaliser Bolton broke clear through sub Petrov who slotted home to secure the 3-points for Bolton. Watch all the goals below….
